Romania Payroll Analyst

Location: Bucharest, Romania

Salary: 108,050–163,800 PLN annually for candidates based in Poland, plus potential annual cash incentive bonuses.

What you will do

• Deliver accurate, timely, and compliant monthly payroll for approximately 1,600 hirify.global Romania employees.
• Manage payroll inputs, interface monitoring, execution, controls, corrections, statutory filing, and post-payroll activities.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide accurate customer support.
• Maintain SOX procedures, support audits, reconcile payroll data, and prepare compliance documentation.
• Lead moderately to highly complex payroll projects and prepare professional reports.
• Improve and automate payroll processes, including exploring AI to increase task execution efficiency.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of experience in payroll, HR administration, payroll processing, or a related field.
• Strong payroll administration and processing skills with an understanding of Romanian payroll regulations.
• Experience with SAP Payroll or ADP Global View is highly desired.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent Romanian and English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday HCM and PECI interfaces.
• Digital skills in AI, intelligent automation, or Power BI.
