Cybersecurity Engineer - Cloud

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid, with at least 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Conduct threat and risk analyses and contribute to mitigation strategies.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Improve the security posture of public-cloud and on-premises environments.
• Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate risks to business leaders and engineers.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security into technology and operations.
• Build infrastructure and platforms for automated vulnerability management and security reporting.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with cloud security services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Programming experience with Python and experience deploying secure cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of network, application, and system security.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and securing Kubernetes services.
• Knowledge of the OWASP Web Top 10 and CWE Top 25.

Nice to have

• AWS Security Specialty certification.
• Advanced degree and extensive experience in cloud security.
