TL;DR
Software Engineer NOY (Automation): Developing reliable and scalable control-system software for vacuum equipment and automation applications with an accent on C#/WPF, Python/PyQt, LabVIEW, motion control, industrial protocols, and MES integration. Focus on designing PC-based architectures, integrating PLCs and industrial devices, commissioning multi-axis systems, and solving communication latency and multi-thread synchronization challenges.
Location: On-site at the office in Hefei, China

What you will do
- Analyze customer requirements and design modular, scalable PC-based control-system architectures.
- Develop control software for multi-axis motion control, machine vision integration, process automation, and industrial-device communication.
- Implement interfaces with PLCs, sensors, and industrial instruments using Modbus TCP/RTU, CANopen, EtherCAT, and OPC UA.
- Lead software and hardware integration testing, commissioning, FAT/SAT activities, troubleshooting, customer training, and after-sales technical support.
- Build HMI and data-visualization applications for real-time production data, analysis, and MES integration.
- Prepare software requirements, design documents, operating manuals, and commissioning guidelines while promoting development standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience independently developing and delivering customized automation-equipment solutions.
- Proficiency in C#/WPF, Python/PyQt, or LabVIEW, with experience in multithreading, network programming, and SQL database programming.
- Familiarity with servo and stepper motors and industrial control devices.
- Fluent spoken English is a plus; good English reading and writing skills are required.
