Location: United States (Remote); fixed shift with weekend rotations

What you will do
- Monitor live card transactions and payment flows for unusual patterns and automated fraud alerts, including card testing, phishing, and brute-force activity.
- Validate, triage, and escalate alerts according to internal playbooks while improving detection accuracy with fraud and engineering teams.
- Investigate fraud and system incidents, coordinate internal communication, document events, and contribute to root cause analyses and post-incident reviews.
- Use SQL and basic Python to analyze transaction anomalies, false positives, recurring issues, and emerging fraud trends.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Relations during live escalations.
- Improve monitoring dashboards, internal documentation, process automation, and fraud model enhancements.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in fintech, payments operations, fraud monitoring, or a related support function.
- Understanding of card payment flows, fraud scenarios, and payment APIs.
- Hands-on SQL experience and basic Python skills for data cleanup and automation scripts.
- Familiarity with alerting or monitoring tools, incident response workflows, and ticketing systems.
- Strong attention to detail, independent work under pressure, and comfort handling live production environments.
- Excellent written and verbal English and willingness to work fixed shifts with weekend rotations.
