Director II, Compliance (Privacy Compliance Monitoring)

What you will do

• Lead the Privacy Compliance Monitoring Team and strengthen organizational trust in data protection.
• Develop enterprise-wide compliance monitoring strategies and execution roadmaps covering personal data, location information, and global standards.
• Establish and operate ongoing monitoring frameworks across services and internal processes in domestic and international businesses.
• Manage enterprise-wide compliance risks, improve risk assessment and prioritization, and oversee remediation effectiveness.
• Build privacy maturity assessment frameworks for external vendors and business partners and lead continuous risk management.
• Coordinate compliance initiatives with Legal, Security, Engineering, Business, and other global and domestic stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 15+ years of experience in privacy compliance, data protection, or related compliance functions, including organizational and team leadership.
• Deep knowledge of privacy and data protection requirements, including the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Location Information Act.
• Experience designing, operating, and improving privacy management systems, governance programs, or compliance monitoring frameworks in large-scale organizations.
• Strategic decision-making, communication, leadership, ethical standards, and accountability in complex stakeholder environments.

Nice to have

• Privacy compliance leadership experience in technology, e-commerce, or digital platform companies processing significant volumes of personal data.
• Practical knowledge of privacy and compliance requirements in cloud-native and microservices architecture environments.
• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Privacy, Information Security, Law, Compliance, or a related field.
• Business-level English and professional English writing skills.
• CISA, CISSP, ISMS-P, ISO 27001, CPPG, or equivalent certification, plus experience with compliance automation and data-driven operational excellence.
