Compliance, Global Privacy Office, Vice President (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the identification and strategic assessment of privacy risks across business lines, products, and initiatives in Ireland and the wider European market.
• Provide expert privacy advice to business, engineering, operations, compliance, and other stakeholders, including on AI-enabled initiatives.
• Oversee Data Protection Impact Assessments, AI-related impact assessments, and other operational elements of the privacy compliance program.
• Review products, features, and business activities against Irish and EU privacy requirements.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Risk, and Business teams to assess regulatory developments and deliver required changes.
• Develop privacy governance frameworks, policies, procedures, tools, education, and reporting for senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent; a legal degree is helpful.
• At least 7 years of work experience, including at least 5 years in privacy or data protection.
• Experience reviewing, advising on, or implementing programs addressing privacy laws at local and global levels, including EU GDPR, the Irish Data Protection Act 2018, ePrivacy Regulations, and the EU AI Act.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, coordination, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, manage interdependencies, escalate risks, and complete actions by deadlines.

Nice to have

• CIPP/E certification.
• Financial services experience, particularly within an Irish or EU-regulated entity.
• Legal degree.
