Senior Compliance Assurance Officer

What you will do

• Plan and execute compliance assurance reviews under the Global Compliance Management Programme and the annual EMAP Compliance Assurance Plan.
• Define review scope and testing approach, build and perform testing of compliance controls, and conduct fieldwork and fact-finding meetings.
• Prepare high-quality working papers and reports covering findings, risks, conclusions, and required actions.
• Partner with business owners to agree practical action plans, track actions through to closure, and escalate high-risk issues.
• Support continuous improvement of methodology and reporting quality, including maintaining and evolving EMAP Compliance Assurance methodology, templates, and GenAI tooling.
• Maintain accurate records in Archer and provide management reporting on key indicators, deliverables, and review progress.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in compliance monitoring, testing, assurance, audit, or a similar regulatory compliance role.
• Experience working in a large, regulated environment.
• Experience with EU privacy and data protection regulations.
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Fluent English.
• Professional audit qualification such as ACCA, CIA, or CISA.
