Senior Scientist, Process Development (I,II,III)

Salary: $90,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, execute, and analyze complex cell therapy process development experiments using scientific principles and design of experiments.
• Collaborate with Analytical Development, MSAT, Quality, Manufacturing, Business Development, Product, and Engineering on process and technology implementation.
• Author and review technical documents, procedures, and reports.
• Present scientific and programmatic information to internal and client-facing stakeholders.
• Coordinate daily team efforts, provide technical guidance, and train junior team members and new hires.
• Support cell and gene therapy troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and technology transfer as a subject-matter expert.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 6–21 years of process development experience in the cell and gene therapy field.
• Subject-matter expertise in T-cell, HSC, or another immune cell therapy modality.
• Hands-on experience with Miltenyi Prodigy, Lonza Cocoon, Xuri Wave, or comparable commercial cell processing instruments.
• Experience with LVV, RVV, LNP, transduction, transfection, and electroporation processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain scientific results to technical and non-technical audiences.
