Salary: $143,200–$265,900 annually, with a potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do
- Lead and manage a productive research group focused on next-generation cell therapies for autoimmune diseases.
- Identify new therapeutic targets and hypotheses across autoimmune disease areas including inflammatory bowel disease, multiple sclerosis, lupus, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
- Advance transformative therapeutics from preclinical research into early clinical development.
- Generate original research and contribute directly to initiating and advancing pipeline projects.
- Collaborate with computational biology, proteomics and tissue genomics, drug development, early clinical development, and translational medicine teams.
- Evaluate external business development opportunities that could accelerate the cell therapy pipeline.
Requirements
- PhD and postdoctoral training in immunology, cell biology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of post-PhD experience with high-impact publications, preprints, patents, or a record of advancing therapeutic candidates into early clinical development.
- Deep expertise in cellular immunology, autoimmune disease pathways, and relevant immune cell types.
- Expertise in both B cell and T cell biology.
- Experience engineering, modifying, and functionally evaluating human immune cells.
- Experience working with mouse models, including humanized models, plus strong leadership, communication, critical-thinking, and experimental-design skills.
