Quality Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia; hybrid with two days in the office each week

What you will do

• Create and evolve scalable testing frameworks and automation systems.
• Own end-to-end testing across multiple parts of the product.
• Develop QA strategies, test plans, automation pipelines, and quality processes at scale.
• Test web platforms, mobile applications, REST APIs, cryptocurrency exchange workflows, wallets, order books, trading mechanics, and security flows.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to plan tests, identify risks, and improve product reliability.
• Build, mentor, and guide QA teams toward high performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional QA experience in the software industry.
• At least 5 years of experience leading, managing, and scaling QA teams.
• Strong expertise in QA strategy, test automation frameworks, and quality processes at scale.
• Experience with WebDriverIO, Cypress, Katalon, Robot Framework, Postman, database tools, shell scripting, Git, and project management tools such as JIRA or Asana.
• Hands-on experience testing mobile applications, web platforms, REST APIs, and cryptocurrency exchanges, including CEX and DEX products.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
