What you will do

• Design and execute test plans for product features, backend services, mobile applications, websites, and data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain automated testing suites and regression testing infrastructure.
• Review product requirements and engineering designs, providing feedback before implementation.
• Plan releases, identify dependencies and backward-compatibility risks, and verify release impact with machine learning and data science teams.
• Reproduce production bugs in staging, support troubleshooting, and improve test coverage and QA processes.
• Define testing procedures, estimate test effort, and review test cases created by other QA specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• 3+ years of experience with manual and automated testing of web services and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, computer science fundamentals, and white-box, black-box, and regression testing.
• Experience testing functional and non-functional requirements, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with MySQL and scripting tools such as Bash or Python on Linux.
• Working knowledge of HTTP, web services, OAuth, RESTful APIs, CI tools such as Jenkins or Travis, and Git.
