What you will do
- Understand product requirements and design and execute test plans with full ownership.
- Develop and maintain automation suites for websites, mobile applications, and backend services.
- Review product requirements and engineering designs, providing feedback before implementation.
- Plan releases, identify dependencies and backward-compatibility risks, and measure release impact.
- Coordinate with DevOps to execute and verify product releases.
- Reproduce production bugs in staging, troubleshoot issues, and help drive urgent fixes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- 2–3 years of experience in manual and automated testing of web services and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, computer science fundamentals, and testing practices including white-box, black-box, and regression testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for functional and non-functional quality requirements.
- Excellent knowledge of MySQL and scripting with BASH or Python on Linux; intermediate experience writing automation suites.
- Good understanding of HTTP, web services, OAuth, RESTful APIs, CI tools such as Jenkins or Travis, and Git.
