QA Engineer (SDE 2) - Transaction & Risk

What you will do

• Work with product and development teams to clarify requirements, review feature implementations, and identify testability gaps early.
• Create test plans and test cases from PRDs and technical design documents, covering functional, regression, and edge-case scenarios.
• Perform manual testing across web and mobile platforms before each release.
• Log, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and severity classification.
• Write and maintain automated API and E2E test scripts under the guidance of the SEIT.
• Improve QA processes, documentation standards, bug triage workflows, tools, and environment setup procedures.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in manual and automated testing of web services and mobile applications.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, computer science fundamentals, and testing practices including white-box, black-box, and regression testing.
• Intermediate experience writing automation suites in any programming language.
• Good understanding of HTTP, web services, OAuth, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins or Travis and with Git, along with strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
