QA Engineer (SDE 2) - Merchant

What you will do

• Work with product and development teams to understand requirements, review feature implementations, and identify testability gaps early.
• Create test plans and test cases from product requirements and technical design documents.
• Perform manual functional, regression, and edge-case testing across web and mobile platforms before releases.
• Log, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps, expected and actual results, and severity classification.
• Write and maintain automated API and end-to-end test scripts under the guidance of the SEIT.
• Improve QA documentation, bug triage workflows, test environments, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in manual and automated testing of web services and mobile applications.
• Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent background.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, computer science fundamentals, and testing practices including white-box, black-box, and regression testing.
• Intermediate experience writing automation suites in any programming language.
• Understanding of HTTP, web services, OAuth, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins or Travis, Git, analytical problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
