EHS Engineer

What you will do

• Manage occupational health and safety programs to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
• Maintain site audits, conduct periodic communication and training, and investigate incidents when needed.
• Provide professional safety and occupational health recommendations to site leadership.
• Support process safety management and central safety committee programs.
• Lead new chemical reviews, regulatory reviews, toxic chemical management, emergency response activities, and external inspections.
• Coordinate workplace environmental monitoring, hazard communication, ISO 45001 certification activities, and safety performance evaluation.

Requirements

• Occupational Safety and Health Technician license ( ).
• Occupational Safety Specialist or Health Specialist license ( or ).
• ISO 45001 internal auditor certification; lead auditor certification is an advantage.
• Proficiency in local safety management practices and workplace safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and make decisions involving future implications.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
