Lead Warehouse Technician

Location: On-site 5 days per week in Charleston, South Carolina; the posting also references Charlotte, North Carolina

Hourly base pay: $22.93–$27.18 per hour

What you will do

• Lead and perform receipt, staging, storage, transfer, picking, and delivery of HVAC equipment.
• Coordinate warehousing, customer service, local transportation, freight companies, inbound shipments, and outbound deliveries.
• Operate material handling equipment, load and unload trucks, and maintain safe warehouse conditions.
• Receive inventory, complete cycle counts, update electronic records, and resolve quantity or part-number discrepancies.
• Deliver materials to supported shops, prioritize urgent requests, arrange product for inventory turnover, and assist with annual inventory.
• Train and onboard warehouse associates, complete required safety certifications, maintain housekeeping, and work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of warehouse experience and forklift experience.
• Forklift certification and a valid driver's license.
• Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Basic math skills, comfort with American money, weight, and volume measurements, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to stand for 8–12 hours and lift or move up to 50 pounds, with heavier loads handled mechanically.
