Data Architect (FinTech)

What you will do

• Align data strategy, roadmaps, and architecture solutions with business strategy and evolving data needs.
• Document underlying data and data products, advise on maximizing data value, and support information value chain analysis.
• Align data architecture initiatives with data management, security, and governance practices.
• Provide strategic and tactical guidance on data modeling, data flow design, and the organization’s end-to-end data technology landscape.
• Establish and maintain domain-level data models to support integration across systems and data platforms.
• Plan and implement modern architecture capabilities, including real-time data movement, data virtualization, and emerging data technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related course.
• At least 6 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, database design, data structuring, or data solutioning.
• At least 5 years of experience implementing OLAP/OLTP databases, data warehouses, or data lakes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience implementing data architecture solutions using proven big data and enterprise platform design patterns.
• Knowledge of modern data architecture, SQL, and scripting or data engineering technologies including Python, Java, Spark, Shell, and Kafka.
