Senior Data Architect (Databricks)

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data architectures using Databricks on Azure.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, data models, and data warehouse structures.
• Translate requirements from engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders into technical designs.
• Lead ETL/ELT framework implementation while ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
• Integrate new data sources, troubleshoot platform issues, and improve solution reliability and performance.
• Define data governance and modeling standards and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Architect.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure data services, including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience designing data pipelines, data models, and cloud analytics architectures.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Scala for data engineering.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, access control, compliance, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and distributed systems.
• Fluent English, ideally at C1 level, is required.
