TL;DR
Data Architect (AI): Define and evolve enterprise data architectures, platforms, models, and data flows supporting analytics, AI, and operational systems with an accent on data modeling, governance, metadata management, and cloud data platforms. Focus on designing scalable architectures, translating business requirements into sustainable data solutions, and guiding data engineering teams across Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
Location: San Salvador, El Salvador

What you will do
- Define and govern enterprise data architecture, ensuring platforms, models, and data flows are scalable, secure, and aligned with business strategy.
- Design and evolve data ecosystems supporting analytics, AI, and operational systems.
- Develop data models using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema for business and technical requirements.
- Establish architecture standards, principles, guidelines, and documentation across the organization.
- Lead data governance and metadata management practices to improve data quality, visibility, consistency, and usability.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, evaluate data technologies, and provide architectural guidance to data engineering teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise platform design.
- Strong experience with data modeling, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
- Advanced SQL and Python skills, with hands-on experience using Spark and dbt.
- Experience designing and working with Snowflake and BigQuery, as well as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Experience with enterprise data architecture, metadata management, data governance, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Fluent English proficiency required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- TOGAF, AWS Data Architect, Google Cloud Data Engineer, or CDMP certification.
