Legal Counsel (Transactional) (Fintech)

Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid work with three days per week in the office

Salary: €78,000–€100,000 gross per annum

What you will do

• Draft, negotiate, and manage complex B2B commercial agreements across payment services and corporate welfare.
• Structure and manage strategic partnerships from deal inception through execution.
• Advise on SaaS, technology, procurement, supplier, and operational contracts.
• Support corporate welfare tenders by reviewing and negotiating contracts and tender documentation.
• Draft and negotiate agreements for marketing campaigns, advertising, co-branding, and creative and media agencies.
• Improve contract templates, legal processes, and negotiation automation in partnership with the AI Team.

Requirements

• Law degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience in commercial law, complex B2B contracts, and transactional matters.
• Experience across law firms and in-house legal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions autonomously and balance legal risk with business growth.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder communication, and commercial judgment skills.
• Fluent English and Italian required.
• Interest in digital and AI-enabled legal tools.
