AI Operator (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or New York, with 3+ days per week in-office from Tuesday through Thursday; approximately 20% travel required.

Base salary: $140K–$200K per year, depending on experience, location, and level, plus meaningful equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive operational rigor by defining success, clarifying ownership, tracking commitments, and managing risks.
• Track OKRs, remove blockers, and maintain the operating rhythm across research, engineering, revenue operations, and delivery programs.
• Align executive, technical, and business stakeholders through clear program reporting and proactive risk escalation.
• Keep programs moving in fast-changing environments while adapting to shifting priorities.
• Use frontier AI models and modern AI tools to continuously improve workflows and team execution.
• Author best practices and playbooks for running high-performance programs at scale.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience owning difficult outcomes and delivering at scale in a high-intensity environment.
• Background may include founding, chief-of-staff, COO, delivery management, or other operational leadership roles.
• Strong accountability, judgment, and ability to bring structure to ambiguity.
• Ability to communicate across technical deep-dives with engineers and strategic discussions with executives.
• Active daily use of frontier AI tools and a track record of continuously reinventing workflows as AI technology evolves.
• Ability to work in-office at least three days per week in San Francisco or New York and travel approximately 20%.
