Program Manager, AI Governance & Initiatives (AI)

Location: US Headquarters

Base salary: $200,000–$231,000 per year, plus new-hire RSU grants, eligibility for annual RSU grants, and competitive benefits.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise AI initiatives, from proposal intake and review coordination through POC tracking, final presentation, and deployment recommendation.
• Coordinate cross-functional AI governance and approval workflows across engineering, IT, Legal, and business stakeholders.
• Track initiative scope, implementation progress, resources, milestones, risks, and measurable outcomes.
• Define and improve review criteria, status tracking, deployment-readiness checklists, and program reporting.
• Support governance for approved AI tools, external platforms, subscriptions, and deployment controls.
• Drive communication, enablement, and best-practice sharing to support broader enterprise AI adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Strong experience managing cross-functional technical programs in fast-moving environments.
• Working knowledge of modern AI technologies, including solution scope, architecture, data requirements, evaluation criteria, and integration needs.
• Ability to engage with technical teams on LLM-based workflows, agentic systems, retrieval and document-based knowledge systems, AI-assisted automation, and enterprise integration.
• Familiarity with AI governance and security, including tool approval controls, data usage boundaries, risk review, and external or open-source AI technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive updates, program documentation, and cross-functional communications.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI governance, digital transformation, PMO, innovation, or portfolio management programs.
• Familiarity with API integrations, knowledge indexing, workflow automation, and technical evaluation metrics.
• Experience with AI security, data governance, or controlled adoption of external enterprise platforms.
• Comfort working across engineering, IT, and business teams in a matrixed environment.
