What you will do

• Design and implement real-time embedded software in C++ for autonomous defense systems.
• Develop electrical schematics and system requirements for microcontroller, embedded, power, and motor-control circuits.
• Interpret microcontroller, digital, and analog IC datasheets and integrate software with sensors, actuators, and control hardware.
• Create design documentation, including pseudocode, block diagrams, schematics, simulation results, and test protocols.
• Test, simulate, debug, and optimize embedded systems in laboratory and field environments.
• Improve code performance and reduce power consumption on hardware-constrained platforms.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in electrical and firmware design, including schematic design and embedded software development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of microcontroller-based control systems, power conversion, and motor drives.
• 3+ years of experience developing real-time, safety-critical embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C++ for embedded systems and Python for scripting or development.
• Experience deploying real-time control software in robotics or autonomous systems and validating designs against military standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded Linux, RTOS, and custom embedded kernels.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, UART, and I2C protocols.
• Experience optimizing low-latency embedded applications under strict power and computational constraints.
