Senior Product Marketing Manager (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Beaverton, Oregon, United States. Candidates are generally expected to reside in states where MKS is registered to do business. Up to 25% international travel is required.

What you will do

• Drive business success for the Geode A and Geode X product families serving advanced packaging and IC substrate manufacturing.
• Develop product positioning, messaging, value propositions, pricing strategies, and commercial business cases.
• Manage product profitability, revenue forecasting, demand planning, and quarterly production planning.
• Build multi-year product roadmaps based on customer requirements, market trends, competitive dynamics, and growth objectives.
• Lead marketing requirements development through MRDs and collaborate with Engineering during the NPI process.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including launches, portfolio optimization, upgrades, end-of-sale planning, and end-of-life execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Business, Marketing, or a related technical discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in product marketing, product management, business management, or strategic marketing.
• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment, advanced packaging equipment, PCB manufacturing equipment, or related high-technology capital equipment.
• Demonstrated experience managing product strategy, roadmaps, pricing, forecasting, and product lifecycle management.
• Strong commercial acumen, including customer negotiations, business case development, and profitability analysis.
• Ability to convert market and customer requirements into product requirements and strategic investment recommendations.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced packaging, IC substrate, FC-BGA, heterogeneous integration, HBM, or AI-related packaging applications.
• Knowledge of substrate manufacturing, PCB fabrication, and advanced packaging technologies.
• MBA or an advanced technical degree.
• Experience working with customers across Asia, North America, and Europe.
