Strategic Sourcing Manager – Apparel Sourcing

Location: Solihull, England, United Kingdom. Hybrid setup with a minimum expectation of three days per week onsite at hirify.global HQ.

What you will do

• Support and execute the global apparel sourcing strategy across merchandising, planning, technical and supply planning teams.
• Diversify and manage the supplier base, including vendor assessment, onboarding, allocation, development and exit strategies.
• Monitor supplier performance, implement corrective action plans and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead costing, supplier negotiations and margin improvement across assigned product categories.
• Lead Tier 1 capacity planning and seasonal sourcing activities to balance demand, risk and supplier capability.
• Lead, coach and develop the Sourcing Executive while upholding ethical and sustainable sourcing standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of sourcing experience in apparel, fashion or retail.
• Strong understanding of apparel product development, manufacturing processes and production critical paths.
• Experience managing global sourcing operations and supplier performance.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and PLM or equivalent product lifecycle management systems.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring junior team members.

• Understanding of ethical sourcing, supplier compliance and sustainability frameworks in apparel.
