Head of Corporate Development (AI Fintech)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model with remote working flexibility. Occasional travel is required.

What you will do

• Partner with the CEO to define strategic priorities, translate them into operational plans, and track measurable KPIs.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
• Provide research, analysis, scenario modeling, executive advice, and proxy representation for the CEO when required.
• Prepare committee materials, executive updates, investor communications, and performance reporting.
• Lead strategic projects such as market expansion, product launches, organizational redesign, fundraising, and partnerships.
• Improve governance, accountability, internal processes, leadership alignment, and execution speed.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or high-growth technology environments.
• Experience working directly with senior executives or founders.
• Strong financial and business acumen, including understanding of SaaS, platform, AI, and fintech business models.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and executive influence skills.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and operate with strategic rigor, resilience, and adaptability.
