Sustainability Intern

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid workplace. Candidates must be based in the Netherlands and have the right to work there.

What you will do

• Support sustainability and social impact projects across global markets.
• Contribute to decarbonization and fleet electrification initiatives.
• Check complex datasets and use data-driven insights and AI to support ESG goals.
• Build presentations and distill complex policy, finance, and technology topics into clear insights.
• Coordinate global events, workshops, and cross-team initiatives.
• Collaborate with the 9-person Sustainability team and stakeholders across the portfolio.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or current student with a bachelor's degree or higher.
• Strong interest in sustainability, technology, data, and ESG.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Comfort with G Suite, Microsoft Office, or similar systems.
• Fluent English and the right to work in the Netherlands are required.

Nice to have

• Understanding of clean-technology business cases.
• Experience with technology deployment in new markets.
• Academic or practical experience with policy or finance related to scaling technologies or improving markets.
• Additional language skills.
