Postdoc Researcher (Chemical Engineering)

Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Delft, Netherlands

Salary: €3,546–€5,538 per month

What you will do

• Develop and refine models for electrochemical nitrogen recovery processes.
• Conduct comprehensive technoeconomic assessments (TEA) of technology configurations.
• Perform life cycle assessments (LCA) to evaluate environmental impacts.
• Analyze experimental data to inform and validate KPI-based models.
• Collaborate with international partners within the eLitre consortium.
• Contribute to research outputs and reports for the Water4All partnership.

Requirements

• PhD in chemical engineering or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in process modelling and techno-economic assessment.
• Demonstrated expertise in life cycle assessment methodologies.
• Strong interest in electrochemical processes and water circularity.
• Ability to work in an international academic environment.
