What you will do
- Own MRP-driven materials planning for engineering builds and NPI schedules.
- Maintain factory build schedules based on forecast demand and material availability.
- Manage purchase requisitions, production work orders, vendor coordination, and delivery expediting.
- Track material readiness, shortages, and constraints, communicating impacts to engineering and production.
- Troubleshoot MRP, ERP, and BOM data issues and support continuous improvement in planning processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in materials planning, manufacturing planning, or manufacturing engineering.
- Hands-on experience in complex, technical manufacturing environments with changing priorities.
- Experience with NetSuite or another complex ERP/MRP system.
- Confidence working with multi-level BOMs, production schedules, purchasing, inventory, and manufacturing operations.
- Experience using Excel or spreadsheets to analyze and communicate planning information.
Nice to have
- New product introduction experience.
- Experience in medical systems, automotive, transport, advanced engineering, or similar environments.
- Power BI, dashboarding, programme reporting, or supply chain certifications such as CIPS, CILT, APICS CPIM, or CSCP.
