Director, Field Service Delivery

Location: Remote, US

Salary: $124,800–$156,000 per year

What you will do

• Translate long-term service delivery strategies into scalable field-level execution plans.
• Lead the speed, cost, and quality performance of service delivery, including cycle times, job costing, first-time fix rates, and code compliance.
• Manage, mentor, and hold accountable Dispatch Operations Leaders and partner fulfillment support teams.
• Coordinate fulfillment across internal Direct Technician teams and external Field Service Partners.
• Align service delivery with Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Success, inventory availability, and client expectations.
• Manage the operational budget and improve efficiency through route optimization, fleet management, inventory control, and labor utilization.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in Field Service, Service Delivery, or Technical Operations.
• Experience managing distributed, multi-channel dispatch or fulfillment networks and scaling service delivery.
• Practical experience with resource optimization and modern Field Service Management platforms.
• Experience managing operational budgets, unit-level economics, and labor and logistics cost efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Must be able to work remotely from the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Residential or commercial solar operations and maintenance experience, including inverter and energy storage knowledge.
• Change management experience.
• Experience as a licensed general contractor, licensed electrician, or electrical engineer.
• Six Sigma or Lean certification and continuous improvement experience.
