Chemical Filling Operator 1

Location: Waltham, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 6:00–14:30

What you will do

• Clean and sanitize filling equipment and work areas before and after each production run.
• Set up and operate filling, sealing, and labeling equipment according to written and verbal procedures.
• Monitor fill volume, seal effectiveness, labeling accuracy, and product counts.
• Load and unload products and quarantine materials when required.
• Complete Device History Records, Assembly Procedures, and production logs accurately.
• Collaborate with supervisors and production colleagues on schedules and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude, including the use of hand tools and gauges.
• Basic math, counting, computer, and electronic documentation skills.
• Ability to follow GMP, Quality System Regulations, OSHA, PPE, and manufacturing safety procedures.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, distinguish colors, and work around chemicals, cleaning agents, and noise.

Nice to have

• 1–3+ years of experience as a machine operator or in a filling operation.
• 0–2+ years of experience in GMP, QSR, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience operating manual or electric pallet jacks, or willingness to train.
