Director, HR Business Partner (Sales / Commercial)

Location: Rohnert Park, California, United States; required travel of up to 25%.

Estimated base salary: $220,000–$270,000 per year, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Partner with Sales and Commercial leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives.
• Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives covering organizational design, change management, employee relations, and succession planning.
• Develop and implement strategies supporting employee engagement, diversity, equity, inclusion, and a high-performance culture.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to advise leaders on talent management and organizational health.
• Collaborate with the HR team to implement HR best practices and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive HR experience as an HR business partner or generalist.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting Sales and Commercial functions.
• Experience with change management and employee relations investigations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder-influence skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Knowledge of emerging HR technologies and trends.
