Director, HR Business Partner (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States; approximately 10% international travel required.

Expected base pay: $166,880–$250,000 per annum, plus eligibility for bonus and equity plans.

What you will do

• Advise senior executives and global Operations organizations on people-related matters and translate business needs into talent strategies.
• Lead workforce planning, organizational design and effectiveness, talent management, leadership coaching, team development, and change management initiatives.
• Run succession planning, talent reviews, top-talent identification, career development, performance management, and employee engagement programs.
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver compensation, recognition, career development, succession, and talent-development programs.
• Analyze business and HR metrics, identify trends, measure impact, and drive systemic improvements.
• Facilitate team assessments, effectiveness sessions, and organizational interventions across a global, matrixed organization.

Requirements

• 12+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced global technology environment, with career progression, including 8+ years as an HR Business Partner supporting executive-level clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• Strong business acumen and experience as an organizational leader, connecting people strategies to business outcomes.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to support recommendations through data and analysis.
• Outstanding communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trust and credibility across all levels.
• Experience collaborating with global HR teams and influencing without authority to achieve business and organizational objectives.
• Experience managing global HR programs and projects with strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to drive change, set priorities, and remain flexible in a dynamic, highly matrixed environment.
• Knowledge of working and communicating across cultures, including experience supporting global teams in Singapore and Taiwan.
• Experience facilitating team-effectiveness and/or organizational-intervention sessions.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels with urgency and a bias for action.
• Ability to travel, including internationally, approximately 10% of the time.
