Project Manager/Scrum Master (Insurance)

Salary: $79,000–$123,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead Agile teams as Scrum Master, facilitate sprint ceremonies, and remove impediments.
• Manage end-to-end insurance transformation projects using Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.
• Oversee scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, financials, KPIs, resource utilization, and delivery governance.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead onsite and offshore teams and mentor team members.
• Drive initiatives across policy administration, claims, billing, customer experience, digital transformation, data and analytics, and regulatory programs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT delivery.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager and Scrum Master.
• Insurance domain experience, including P&C, life insurance, annuities, or group benefits.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, SDLC, Jira or Azure DevOps, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, risk management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget while maintaining sprint predictability, client satisfaction, quality, and governance compliance.

Nice to have

• PMP, CSM, PSM, SAFe, or PMI-ACP certification.
