Capture Director - US Navy

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States

Base salary: $150,000–$300,000 USD per year, with potential eligibility for a commission plan.

What you will do

• Drive Army strategic capture opportunities from inception through contract award as the primary point of contact.
• Develop win themes, win strategies, value propositions, differentiators, milestones, and activity plans.
• Coordinate company resources to build technical and management solutions.
• Support proposal managers and solution teams with requirements-driven outlines, proposal reviews, and capture guidance.
• Analyze competitors, identify capability gaps, and develop capture risk mitigation strategies.
• Partner with account executives to improve win probability and conduct post-request-for-proposal lessons-learned reviews.

Requirements

• 15+ years of directly related experience with the Army.
• Experience closing large deals in unrestricted federal IT technology and services.
• Extensive knowledge of US government acquisition and procurement practices.
• Thorough understanding of the business development and program capture lifecycle, including a Shipley-type approach.
• Experience selecting and negotiating teaming agreements with federal IT services partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and strong communication, analytical, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
