Tax & Accounting Manager

Location: Hybrid in Bucharest, Romania, with a minimum of one home-office day per week and one weekly office day at the Stefanesti warehouse.

What you will do

• Coordinate audits and prepare the required supporting documentation.
• Prepare and oversee statutory financial statements, VAT returns, CIT declarations, control statements, and accompanying notes.
• Manage monthly VAT reporting, investigate differences, and implement corrections.
• Handle deferred tax calculations and reporting, fixed asset records, Intrastat filings, and other statistical reports.
• Manage balance sheet and cash flow reporting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with auditors, internal stakeholders, and the Group Shared Service Centre to maintain regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and VAT regulations.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and an education in Accounting or Finance.
• Ability to resolve accounting issues hands-on and work independently.
• Business-level Romanian and English language skills are required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
