Reporting Specialist | Finance (Temporary 1 Year) @ING Bank

Location: Expo Business Park, Romania. Hybrid work with a flexible schedule.

What you will do

• Prepare and submit accurate financial, regulatory, and statistical reports to the National Bank of Romania, Ministry of Finance, National Institute of Statistics, and ING Group.
• Perform analyses, reconciliations, consistency checks, controls, and data validations across local and Group reporting.
• Maintain knowledge of reporting frameworks, regulatory requirements, methodologies, and data sources.
• Participate in transformation projects by testing new functionalities, products, and reporting solutions and escalating identified issues.
• Optimize reporting processes and support the investigation and resolution of data-quality concerns and reconciliation differences.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, IT, and other stakeholders while applying internal, regulatory, and SOX control requirements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in financial reporting within banking, or relevant audit or consulting experience with financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of banking products and their impact on financial and regulatory reporting.
• Ability to work with large volumes of data and multiple information sources in a complex technical environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Fluent communication in Romanian and English is required.
• Accountability, a proactive attitude, and willingness to support process improvements and change initiatives.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting requirements, and banking regulations such as NBR and EBA requirements.
