Senior Staff AI Engineer (Enterprise AI)

Location: Most teams work from the office full time, with flexibility when needed.

What you will do

• Design and implement AI-powered solutions for enterprise functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal, and IT.
• Develop core components of an enterprise AI/ML platform, including model deployment and real-time inference systems.
• Design and optimize large-scale AI/ML systems for low latency, high throughput, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Evaluate AI tools, frameworks, and cloud solutions, and lead proofs of concept for emerging Generative AI innovations.
• Mentor AI/ML engineers, lead design discussions, conduct code reviews, and establish architectural best practices.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Product Managers, and IT stakeholders to deliver production-grade AI solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in Data Science, AI, or ML.
• Experience deploying enterprise AI/ML systems and understanding the AI lifecycle.
• Experience with distributed systems and streaming data.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs, plus proficiency in AI/ML frameworks and cloud platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related computational field.
• Experience with open-source AI projects and prior technical leadership of AI/ML projects.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles for AI.
