Robotics Engineer

What you will do

• Design, build, and bring new robotic systems into production for manufacturing processes.
• Develop pick-and-place, lamination automation, and material handling applications.
• Collaborate on automated trimming systems under development.
• Own the controls and robotics logic for automation projects in partnership with mechanical engineers.
• Implement hardware- and actuator-focused systems as well as camera, object detection, and machine learning applications for robotics.
• Integrate robotic systems with PLCs and broader factory control systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with industrial robotic arms, such as Fanuc.
• Mechanical grounding, including candidates with a software-oriented background.
• Experience with industrial or factory systems.
• Ability to own both robotics system design and hands-on bring-up.
• Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements: U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Beckhoff, Siemens, or Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
• Software development experience in C++ or Rust.
• Manufacturing experience.
