Senior Java Developer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications and microservices for digital investment products.
• Collaborate with product management, UX/UI designers, and developers to deliver scalable software solutions.
• Participate in requirements gathering, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance across the software development lifecycle.
• Drive coding, testing, architecture, and code-review best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to digital development strategy and process improvements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Java development experience building enterprise-level applications.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful API design.
• Proven experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Database design and development experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Financial services, investment management, or fintech experience.
• DevOps experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Angular or React and their integration with backend services.
• Agile experience and familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
