What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based real-time processing components.
• Implement and manage message-driven integrations using Kafka, MQ, and APIs.
• Handle ISO 20022 payment messages and ensure end-to-end ownership of user stories.
• Participate in incident analysis, root cause investigations, and production improvements.
• Contribute to non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with SRE, product owners, and global engineering teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java development (Java 21/25).
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and concurrent programming.
• Experience with distributed systems, clustering technologies (Cassandra), and Kafka.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with TDD, BDD, and XML/XSD standards.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ISO 20022 standards and financial market group treasury.
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Exposure to performance testing and tuning.
• Experience working in multi-location, international teams.
