Senior AEO/SEO Strategist (AI)

Location: Berlin, Germany

Base salary: €80,000–€90,000 per year, plus variable compensation on a 90/10 split.

hirify.global provides an enterprise AEO platform for improving visibility across AI and traditional search engines, monitoring technical site health, and creating AI-powered content.

What you will do

• Identify risks and opportunities across strategic customer accounts and develop playbooks to help account teams mitigate renewal risk.
• Act as a senior consultant on SEO, AEO, content, and web operations, creating tailored strategic success plans and recommendations.
• Partner with Customer Success and Sales leadership to address customer challenges and protect high-value accounts.
• Use AI tools and advanced analysis to improve workflows and build dashboards that surface customer and account insights.
• Present strategic plans and business cases to executive sponsors to drive adoption and demonstrate partnership value.
• Mentor strategists and contribute to internal enablement and training initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital marketing experience, including at least 3 years focused on SEO/AEO.
• Experience leading comprehensive website audits and defending advanced technical optimization recommendations.
• Ability to provide actionable, impact-based recommendations and challenge client strategies in executive discussions.
• Proficiency with AI tools, Excel or Google Sheets, LLMs such as Gemini and Claude, and data-driven analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with practitioners, executives, senior leadership, and executive sponsors.
• Minimum C1 German speaking proficiency required.

• Experience managing a portfolio of strategic accounts across multiple projects.
• Experience mentoring or informally guiding less experienced team members.
• Active knowledge of how AI and LLM developments are changing SEO.
