SEO/AEO Strategist

Location: Remote, or based in New York or San Francisco

Compensation: $160,000–$215,000 estimated annual on-target earnings for Zone A, plus equity and a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Embed with enterprise customer accounts that require dedicated delivery support beyond the core platform.
• Own SEO and AEO roadmaps, content workflows, content audits, keyword strategies, and design and structure recommendations end-to-end.
• Run ongoing engagement calls, align stakeholders, and drive work forward through clear weekly outputs.
• Partner with Sales on pre-sale conversations requiring deep SEO and AEO expertise.
• Independently deliver scoped work and reduce the load on senior strategy team members.

Requirements

• Deep, hands-on experience delivering enterprise SEO and AEO work.
• Ability to translate analysis into clear priorities and roadmap decisions.
• Experience owning client-facing deliverables end-to-end and shipping tangible outputs on schedule.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills, including running calls and turning ambiguity into clear next steps.
• Comfort working with practitioners and communicating with leadership at a senior level.

Nice to have

• Experience as a senior SEO or AEO strategist at a digital agency serving enterprise accounts.
• Experience as an in-house Head of SEO or Senior Content Strategist.
