Technical Project Manager

Location: Remote within Spain time zone; CET working hours.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end Data Archiving workstream and manage a small team of Business Analysts.
• Assess the legacy data estate and define requirements for a strategic archiving solution.
• Coordinate Data Engineering teams and third-party suppliers to obtain, ingest, and provide access to archived data.
• Support a large-scale data transformation and migration workstream, including secondary data loads and downstream data cascades.
• Coordinate migration testing, rehearsals, delivery activities, dependencies, risks, issues, milestones, and timelines.
• Prepare business cases and funding discussions while providing updates to senior stakeholders and steering committees.

Requirements

• 5–6 years of experience in Technical Project Management or a similar delivery-focused role.
• Proven experience delivering data-related projects or programmes, including data migration, archiving, delivery, or transformation.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical teams, Data Engineering teams, and third-party suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, organisation, and coordination skills.
• Experience managing risks, dependencies, issues, timelines, delivery milestones, business cases, and funding discussions.
• Ability to work within the Spain time zone and during CET working hours.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering data archiving solutions or large-scale data migrations.
• Experience in financial services, wealth management, banking, or another highly regulated environment.
• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms and strategic archive solutions.
