Technical Architect - Marketing Technology and Custom Apps

Location: Remote - USA. Up to 5% domestic and international travel may be required. Relocation assistance may be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Salary: $143,200–$196,900 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay where applicable.

What you will do

• Lead solution evaluation and architecture governance across COTS, SaaS, custom, and hybrid options.
• Define current- and future-state architecture strategies across applications, integrations, and data.
• Guide modernization toward cloud-native, microservices, API-driven, and event-based architectures.
• Design and oversee AWS and Azure cloud solutions for scalability, resiliency, cost efficiency, and migration from legacy and on-premises environments.
• Embed security, compliance, regulatory requirements, and risk management into architecture designs.
• Advise business, engineering, security, and vendor stakeholders while validating architectural integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and at least 8 years of IT experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in an architecture or senior technical leadership role.
• At least 3 years of experience with AWS and/or Azure, including application, integration, and infrastructure architecture.
• Strong understanding of security architecture, including IAM, data security, network security, and secure SDLC.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with marketing technology applications such as CMS, DAM, and PIM.
• Experience with legacy application modernization and system replacement.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
• Order-to-Cash expertise covering order management, invoicing, billing, payments, ERP, and finance integrations in regulated healthcare product environments.
