What you will do

• Own QA strategy and execution for the Network SDK, including HAL, SAI, platform APIs, and data-plane interfaces.
• Design and maintain test frameworks and automation suites for SDK APIs, hardware integration, and system behavior.
• Lead functional, regression, performance, scalability, and release qualification testing.
• Triage defects and perform root-cause analysis with SDK developers, ASIC teams, and Network OS integration teams.
• Define quality metrics and validate packet I/O, hardware abstraction, and platform APIs across standalone and system-level configurations.
• Mentor QA engineers and expand automation coverage across hardware SKUs and software branches.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software QA or validation experience with networking SDKs, Network OS platforms, or embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 forwarding, ACLs, QoS, and multicast.
• Experience with C/C++ API testing, Python automation, and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with HAL, switch SDKs such as SAI, DPDK, or P4-based platforms.
• Advanced debugging with packet captures, logs, SDK traces, and hardware counters.
• Experience architecting test frameworks, leading system validation, mentoring engineers, and driving technical reviews.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-ASIC or chassis-based switching systems.
• Knowledge of platform daemons and Network OS integration, including SONiC, EOS, or NX-OS.
• Experience with IXIA, Spirent, TRex, or similar traffic-generation and scale-testing tools.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, continuous validation frameworks, or containerized test environments.
• Contributions to open-source SDKs or network software projects such as SAI or SONiC.
