Senior Staff Engineer, Quality Assurance (AI Networking)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain software for networking products, infrastructure services, and deployment automation.
• Build automated tests and validation frameworks for functionality, regression, performance, scale, and reliability.
• Develop QoS test plans and qualify networking ASICs and systems across Layer 2, Layer 3, buffer management, scheduling, and queueing.
• Create debugging, traffic monitoring, performance measurement, observability, telemetry, and deployment-efficiency tools.
• Debug issues across software, Linux systems, networking stacks, and distributed infrastructure.
• Support customer deployments, integration testing, proofs of concept, field issue resolution, and root-cause analysis with engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, QA engineering, networking, or a related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or a similar language.
• Solid understanding of Linux, TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with software development, test automation, CI/CD, or system validation.
• Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment with strong ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI infrastructure, AI backend networking, GPU cluster networking, NCCL, RDMA, or RoCEv2.
• Familiarity with SONiC, SAI, BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, DPDK, and Kubernetes.
• Experience testing Ethernet ASICs or using Ixia, Keysight, Spirent, or similar traffic-generation platforms.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, infrastructure as code, customer deployments, or field engineering.
