Engineer II, Product Development (Specialty Gas Packaging)

What you will do

• Develop test plans, execute experiments, analyze data, and prepare technical reports for internal and customer-facing use.
• Investigate returned products by evaluating reported customer issues, identifying likely failure modes, recommending disposition, and supporting corrective actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance and periodic inspections of laboratory equipment.
• Communicate technical findings, project risks, safety incidents, and conflicts clearly to the appropriate audiences.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Product Management, and Manufacturing teams to improve product performance.
• Follow zero-release requirements and site procedures for hazardous gas handling, PPE, controls, and emergency response.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with electronic gases, specialty gases, semiconductor materials, or hazardous materials packaging.
• Ability to develop test plans, execute experiments, write technical reports, and communicate conclusions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including interpreting complex technical data and translating findings into clear recommendations.
• Demonstrated teamwork, collaboration, technical leadership, and self-motivation.
