UX Designer (Aviation)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid work with regular access to the central Stockholm office

What you will do

• Shape the user experience across the Charts app, desktop utilities, and in-simulator interfaces, including VR.
• Frame complex problems, conduct user research, and identify product opportunities and usability issues.
• Design wireframes, user flows, detailed interfaces, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
• Validate and refine features through implementation in collaboration with engineering.
• Contribute to scalable design systems and maintain consistency across products.
• Manage multiple UX initiatives and help establish behavioral analytics and user research infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product or UX design experience across web, native mobile, and desktop platforms.
• Strong experience designing data-dense, information-rich interfaces, ideally for professional tools, technical software, or specialized domains.
• High proficiency in Figma, including exploration, detailed design, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining design systems with components, design tokens, and shared libraries.
• Knowledge of usability principles, accessibility standards, human-computer interaction, and platform-specific technical constraints.
• Clear and precise written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Interest in aviation, pilot experience, or flight-simulation experience.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, React, or React Native.
