TL;DR
Associate Field Software Engineer (VTEX): Unblocking enterprise customers by diagnosing and resolving complex storefront, API, integration, and checkout implementation issues with an accent on proactive technical support and customer architecture guidance. Focus on debugging production problems, advising commercial and customer teams, and converting recurring issues into documentation, product feedback, and playbooks.
Location: Brazil; in-office Monday through Thursday and remote on Friday

What you will do
- Proactively identify technical risks and unblock customers before issues become escalations.
- Work in a dedicated cell with Sales and Success on a shared enterprise customer portfolio.
- Debug, reproduce, and resolve complex implementation issues across storefronts, APIs, integrations, checkout, and the broader platform.
- Advise customers on architecture decisions, platform capabilities, and implementation best practices.
- Turn recurring technical issues into documentation, product feedback, and operational playbooks.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building or implementing solutions on the platform.
- Knowledge of IO, FastStore, Master Data, core APIs, and production stores.
- Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, Chrome DevTools, and Postman.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical root causes to developers and business stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-directed problem-solving mindset and genuine interest in helping customers.
Nice to have
- Working proficiency in English.
- Digital commerce experience beyond .
- SEO and frontend performance optimization knowledge.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
